Custom Wedding Cakes & Cupcakes
At Fresh Dish, we believe that what’s on the inside is just as important as what’s on the outside. All of our cakes and desserts are made with real ingredients: fresh butter; real vanilla; lemon zest; fresh-squeezed juices; real whipping cream; seasonal fruits and nuts. We use source flavours instead of artificial extracts to flavour cakes. All of our desserts - including multi-tiered wedding, bridal shower, or anniversary cakes - are made from scratch, fresh-to-order.
Wedding cakes are one of our favourite things! And one of our specialties - our amazing pastry chef Tara creates some of the most exquisite cakes in the city. Beauty and flavour meet over fresh-whipped buttercreams, and shiny smooth chocolate ganache. Sugared fruits and fresh flowers sparkle and cascade, hand-crafted sugar flowers artfully adorn … but underneath all the dazzle, how is the taste? Divine. Chocolate cake with dark chocolate fudge, raspberry coulis and vanilla buttercream. Pineapple orange cake with coconut buttercream, honey orange, and candied pineapple flowers. Chocolate vanilla marble cake with coffee buttercream and milk chocolate ganache filling. Lemon cake with raspberry buttercream. Dessert Bar
Dessert bars for weddings and bridal showers are kaleidoscopes of sweet colour and decadent taste. Your guests will delight at the array of options.
Our French macarons are absolutely to die for! These crisp, crunchy and chewy little almond delights come in a huge variety of colours and flavours - from Ginger Pear to Lavender & Honey; from Salted Caramel to Rosewater & Cardamom. Macarons can be filled with fresh buttercream, jams, ganache and more.
Moist, rich mini cupcakes come in chocolate, vanilla, and lemon with buttercream. In-house made, light and creamy Eclairs and Creampuffs are filled with whipping cream and drizzled with chocolate or caramel. Dreamy Dessert Cups can be anything from Strawberries and Cream, to Salted Caramel Mousse with chocolate drizzle, to Tiramisu with coffee-drenched ladyfingers and in-house made mascarpone.
Build in assorted cookies, mousse tarts, meringues and fruit tarts … and our Dessert Bars are visions of loveliness!
Bridal Shower Cakes
Bridal shower cakes can be whimsical and fun; elegant and sophisticated; traditional or modern. This is a chance to get creative and delight the bride-to-be with something wondrous. Edible art from Fresh Dish makes the perfect sweet celebration!
Green Matcha tea Swiss Roll with cream cheese filling and buttercream cherry blossoms … Almond Opera Cake with rose and strawberry buttercream. Those are just two examples of Bridal Shower Cakes we have made in the past, but we want to hear your own idea.
